Why doesn't the dehumidifier dehumidify?

Like other electrical appliances, the efficiency of the dehumidifier will decrease after long-term use. After all, the machine also has a service life. However, some customers reported that the new dehumidifier found that the dehumidification efficiency decreased after two or three months of use. In addition to fake and shoddy products or the failure of the dehumidifier, the improper use of the machine has a great relationship.
1. There is a blocker at the air inlet
The air inlet of the dehumidifier cannot be blocked, because it is related to the air intake. Originally, 10 cubic meters of air can be inhaled per minute. Since the air inlet is blocked by something, the air intake is now only 5 cubic meters per minute, and the dehumidification efficiency naturally declines.
2. Insufficient dehumidification
The dehumidification power is generally reflected in the configuration of the machine itself, and different machine models will have hardware configuration for different dehumidification needs. However, some users only consider the humidity value when choosing a dehumidifier, but ignore the area of the dehumidifier environment and natural factors in the environment, such as whether it is near the sea, rainy areas, etc. The air humidity in these places is generally high. Therefore, it is generally necessary to configure a large dehumidification force or increase the number of dehumidifiers to achieve dehumidification.
3. The dehumidifying environment is not relatively sealed
Dehumidification is generally carried out in a relatively closed environment. Simple truth: the swimming pool is the same as the water, one side of the water, the other side of the water, it will take a long time to empty the swimming pool, the same is true for dehumidifiers. If the doors and windows are not closed, the relatively humid outdoor air continues to enter, so that the dehumidifier cannot quickly reduce the air humidity.
4. The temperature of the dehumidifying environment is too low
The dehumidifiers on the market are mainly refrigerated, which have certain requirements for the temperature of the dehumidifying environment. Refrigeration and dehumidification will cause the evaporator to freeze due to low temperature, which in turn affects the number of defrosting times and the degree of defrosting of the evaporator. When the refrigerating dehumidifier is in the defrosting state, the unit does not refrigerate and dehumidify. If it is frequently defrosted, the operating time of the unit that can actually run in the dehumidifying state per hour is very short, resulting in a decrease in the dehumidification effect.
5. Lack of refrigerant
After a long period of use, the refrigerant will continue to be consumed, which is the same as the reason why the air conditioner cannot be cooled, and it needs to be added. After all, the principle of dehumidification by a dehumidifier is the same as that of an air conditioner. The lack of refrigerant has normal consumption, and the compressor leaks. At this time, the small holes must be filled, and then the refrigerant is added.
